Honoring the leaders who have guided the Southold Fire Department through 47 terms of dedicated service since 1914.
Chief Nat E. Booth served as Chief Engineer from 1914 to 1936—a remarkable 22 years, the longest tenure of any Southold Fire Chief. He joined the department in 1910 and led the department through significant growth and modernization, including the construction of the centralized firehouse in 1936.
